Purveyors of fine food, providing tasty, native breed, free range, pasture fed, dry aged meat carefully selected from small farmers who care. We buy whole animal carcasses and butcher ‘nose to tail’ in the traditional manner, then cut for the modern palate. Meat is seasonal, so when shopping week to week do ask what’s new and what’s coming soon. We only provide the best of what is available and source directly from farmers.

Our new product this week is Handcured and dried Beef brisket bacon, a nice alternative to Pork bacon, it’s cured in our secret pancetta cure, airdried before it’s sliced and packed all on site, the next step we will be smoking some over Oak chips so keep an eye out in the coming weeks!

Some new delights for you all to try this scorching weekend we have (another) new range of hot sauces, Crazy B******d sauces we are the stockists in west Cumbria! They are very good along with their amazing curry sauce!

We have a new Wild Garlic marinate which we are putting on everything! Wild Garlic Meatballs, wild garlic sausage, anything you want 🍖

Heaps of kebabs in various flavours also so come down and get all of your BBQ needs!

Also a new one, shoulder and neck of lamb roasted and caramelised in a Moroccan style sauce, reduced down to make a sticky lamby gravy in our puff pastry pasties!
