Loopy Lisa's Fudge

Loopy Lisa's Fudge Making mouthwatering, crumbly, traditional fudge and now dabbling in Belgian Chocolate too!!

Loopy Lisa is Lisa Lane and thanks to the old 'virus that shall not be named', the fudge kitchen has now moved back home, to Lisa's own kitchen! The recipes are adapted from a traditional Women’s Institute template, using all butter and evaporated milk and only real flavours – no preservatives or artificial flavours are used. There is no difference between the ways in which Lisa’s fudges are made

and the way you would produce them at home – she just makes lots more! The only machinery in Lisa’s fudge kitchen is a set of weighing scales – its arm power that makes good fudge! Lisa became Loopy Lisa in 2004 when she started to make fudge at home in Loop Lane – that’s why she’s Loopy Lisa, she’s not mad at all!

I’m trusting that all my fabulous fudge lovers already know how brilliant our market is!! And yes, for all my sins, I’m back on the management team 😬

Just over 2 weeks until we're back on the cobbles!

Did you know, our farmers' market is entirely volunteer run and our whole management team is made up of our own traders? That way, we know that every decision made is done with the interests of small, local producers and farmers at its core. As a non profit organisation, our primary objective is to give local farming and producer businesses the opportunity to flourish, and to breathe life into our town centre and community. We have operated this way for the last 27 years and will ensure we always operate for the benefit of our traders and customers.

So you can feel good when you support the market as well as picking up the BEST produce the region has to offer!
