Our beautiful Dairy Goat Farm (Butterfly Lodge Dairy) is where we lovingly produce a tantalising variety for farm fresh foodie delights. W GOATS MILK, but so much more..............We also sell Goat cheeses,Goat Butter and Goat meat (from our own animals of course!) and our own Traditionally Rear grass fed Lamb. All our delicious products can be ordered via facebook private message or (even better by our) WhatsApp link from our page (just click ‘Like’ on the page and you will be be able to drop us a private message or via our WhatsApp link with details of your order & even request a collection time slot....its so simple!). A member of our passionate team will sort out your orders and answer any questions you have. We will then message you back to confirm when your order will be ready for you to collect. Our collection days are currently Tuesdays and Thursdays afternoons (12noon until 6pm), but we will confirm this when your order is ready. Can't get to us? .... no worries, we offer a nationwide delivery service to your door. So you can enjoy some of this countries best quality RAW GOAT MILK and Goat MIlk Products delivered to you next day. Our Pedigree Dairy Goats (The 'Monach Herd') are a 'closed Herd' meaning we breed there family lines and don't buy in stock. We have farmed this way for rearly 4 (human) generations and bost one of the highest monitored health status in the world. We have been breeding, showing & milk our Internationally Acclaimed, multi award winning pedigree dairy goats for over 50 years and it is our attention to detail in the care, feeding and rearing of our goats that makes our pure, clean, fresh goats milk a cut above the rest....... just ask one of our customers!

Pedigree, registered & health-tested goats — and unregistered, untested goats… often advertised at the same price.

But here’s the reality 🧵

🐐 Pedigree, Health-Tested Goats
• Proven lineage, recorded and traceable
• Generations of selective breeding behind them
• Tested clear (or monitored) for diseases like CAE & Johne’s
• Lower long-term risk to your herd
• You’re paying for years of work, data, and responsibility

🐐 Unregistered, Un-Health Tested Goats
• No verified background
• No proof of disease status
• Unknown genetics and breeding outcomes
• Potential hidden costs if health issues arise

💭 So why are they sometimes the same price?
Because price doesn’t always reflect value.

One is backed by time, transparency, and testing.
The other may simply reflect what the seller thinks they can get.

🚩 If anything, when they’re priced the same, it should make you pause — not assume they’re equal.
