Whether it’s your first time picking your own fruit or you come every year, we hope to make your visit to the farm a staple of your summer. The fields are open for picking from June to early August: strawberries, raspberries, gooseberries, red and blackcurrants, and also broad beans. The farm shop is open year-round, stocked with

freshly frozen fruit and homemade jam. In the fruit season, the farm shop also offers fresh local produce including new potatoes, cream and ice cream.

🍓 Help save the berries from being roasted on the field!

15% off 5kg or more pick your own fruit until Friday 26 June (5kg strawberries, 5kg raspberries, etc)

☀️ Beat the heat

- Farm opens early: 7am Thurs, Fri; 8am Sat*
- Follow the yellow markers for best picking

(*This week only)

- Remember your hat and water bottle!
- Free water refills at the tap beside the farm shop

Lovely fruit all over the farm right now 😍

🕜 Note that Sunday picking can vary if we have a busy Saturday. We let email subscribers know of any changes to our Sunday opening hours on Saturday night if need be (link to sign up in comments).

It’s already the third week of a 10-week strawberry season! There are strawberries all over the field 🍓

And (drum roll) the first raspberries have ripened ... baffling early in June 😳

The Glen Mor raspberry variety is new to the farm so we don’t know how quickly the fruit will ripen. Keep an eye on the pickometer for daily updates (link in comments).

🌦️ The farm dries out quickly after rain so there’s no risk of muddy feet.

🌳 Open daily 9-5 (4pm Sundays*). No booking necessary.

Strawberries everywhere! Fields dry underfoot! Run, don’t walk for some epic picking 🍓

Open until 4pm tomorrow (Sunday) … and the rest of this week as usual.

🌦️ Note: We don’t close for bad weather. The fields dry out quickly after rain. Most of the paths are grassed / paved so there’s very little mud.

🙌 Huge thanks to all the heroes that have braved the weather so far this week to come picking. It really helps to keep the crop healthy when the fruit is picked regularly.

☕️ Even The Wandering Blossom stays open in changing weather! Cuppa + yummy raspberry brownie after picking, anyone?

The strawberries know it’s summer even if the weather doesn’t!

The farm dries out quickly after rain so don your raincoat and pop down in a break in the showers.

You won’t need long on the fields, there are lots of ripe strawberries of different varieties 🍓

🌳 Open daily 9-5 (4pm close on Sundays).

🍓 No need to book. Check the pickometer for fruit availability on the day.

What a bonus the strawberries are ready in time for this glorious half-term week!

🍓Pro-tip: fruit ripens overnight, so come early in the day for the pick of the crop (we open at 9am daily).

🍓Always check the whole strawberry before picking it; those cheeky early berries can fool you into thinking they’re ripe all over!

🍓 We update the pickometer by 8pm the night before to let you know how much fruit is available to pick that day - website in comments.

(Note: picking this first week will vary daily due to half-term demand.)

Well that did the trick ☀️ We’re now open for the 2026 summer fruit season.

Strawberries + gooseberries are ready to pick now; raspberries + other fruit follow later the season.

🍓 Check the pickometer the day you plan to visit, the picking varies daily (link in comments).

🌳 We’re open daily, 9am - 5pm (4pm Sundays - sometimes earlier*). You do not need to book.

Spotted: fresh straw in the rows 👀 Means the strawberry season is getting close!

We have whiplash from all the weather changes over the last few weeks so we’d be lying if we told you we know when the fruit be ready 😅

Just four-ish weeks until strawberry season is here again!

These lovely warm spring days are working their magic, so we expect the first strawberries will be ready at end of May 🍓
