From Wors to Droëwors!

The latest batch from the new sausage stuffer has now had its second transformation…

After making the wors, I air-dried it to create droëwors - I have to say, I’m seriously pleased with how it turned out!

The flavour, texture and finish are exactly what I was hoping for. And the best part? The customers who tried it absolutely loved it!

It’s great to see an idea go from the new machine, through the drying process, and finally into a product that people genuinely enjoy.

The new sausage stuffer has arrived — and it’s already earning its keep!

I’ve been putting it through its paces making some proper beef wors, and I’m really pleased with the results. The consistency and finish are exactly what I was hoping for.

And, of course, it had to be tested with my favourite recipe. 😋

Straight out of the drying room - premium quality biltong at its best !!

The Original flavour has already sold out, with only a few kilos of Garlic and Chilli remaining.
Our next batch will be ready Friday next week.

…. and the first Chilli Biltong of 2026 is now ready. Half of it has already been claimed (you good people will not be disappointed!!), a fair amount is busy going on “QC” 😉, but there will be a little left for those that are quick …. This flavour is by far the biggest seller this season !
