This is a difficult post to write, as no parent ever believes they would be in this situation.
On 24th June, we welcomed our beautiful baby girl into the world. Devastatingly, we learnt that she had multiple heart defects, and despite the best efforts of nurses, surgeons and cardiologists, on 16th July we had to say our goodbyes.
Even though we are very much still in shock and heartbroken beyond measure, we have chosen to give all proceeds from our egg sales to The Grand Appeal, the Bristol Children's Hospital charity.
We will never recover from the loss of our daughter, but we hope that supporting other sick children and their families is something that would have made her smile.
