Look how psychedelic the pacas are !!! Amazingly insulated, heat only lost through noses and knees !!!
Thermal imaging is great fun and shows just how alpacas keep warm in the Outer Hebrides....the Shetlands.....less so !

Keep an eye on the socials or website for details of our alpaca fibre workshops this summer.
Our first workshop will involve creating a beautiful organic bird pod. You will start the workshop meeting and helping feed our fabulous alpacas, then learn about their fibre and how to produce felt. You can choose to make your pod out of your favourite alpacas fibre or card your own special blend, all pods will be unique, no two are ever the same !
No previous experience is necessary just a sense of humour and the knowledge that things will get very wet and soapy before your creation is created ! All equipment will be supplied.
Time is approx 3 hours ( may be slightly longer )
Dates 26/27 June and 10/11 July
Cost £40
Tea/coffee/cake supplied
Suitable for ages 14+
