Please bear with us this morning as we have a power cut and are unable to open the shop, electric is due to be restored by 10.30am so we will open as soon as we can. Sorry for any inconvenience, unfortunately this one is beyond our control!

Just a heads up, tomorrow (Sunday 4th October) we will be closing at the earlier time of 1pm, this weekend only.
Also, as of Sunday 1st November until Sunday 20th December the post office will be opening on a Sunday, to help with the Christmas rush or if you generally just need to use the post office ☺️

This afternoon we’ve had a bunch of keys handed into the shop.

Hi everyone, one of our lovely customers needs your help over the next month, she is looking for old newspapers which are finished with, she’s happy to come and collect from your house once a week, it’s only for a month so if you’re able to help please comment here where she will see your comment or I can pass it on to her. Thanks in advance.

Hi all, haven’t posted on this page for a while, please give this page a like and share if you’re seeing this, will start posting more here so nobody will miss out on what’s happening and what new offers and products we have. Is there anything we don’t stock that you’d like to see here, if so drop a comment and we can look into getting it ☺️ finally we have been here for 2 years now and I feel we have done an awful lot with the shop to make it better, we asked, you suggested and we listened. Thank you all for your custom over the past 2 years, we really do appreciate you all.

All back up and running again now.

We’re about to have our electric meter changed, so for the next 2 hours we won’t have any power so if you need to buy anything please bring cash with you. Thanks very much.

Good news!!!! We’ve decided to try a trial run of keeping the shop open til 7pm Monday-Saturday, we’ll trial it until the end of September (as it’s summer now it would be rude not to) and if it works it will continue so pop in on your way home from work for all your essentials, remember your local shop needs you 🫵🏻

*tomorrow we are open as normal even though it’s bank holiday Monday! No need to go elsewhere when we’re here! Pop in and get everything you need.

Good morning everyone, just a little reminder if you want bread this coming Friday (26th) please have your order in before 10am Wednesday morning. You can order by commenting here, sending a Facebook message or sending me a WhatsApp on 07909158941. Please note though that I don’t always get notified that someone has commented on my post (I don’t know why) so unfortunately I have missed a couple of orders.
