I don't read The Telegraph.. but someone just shared this with me and it has to be one of the most pathetic pieces of 'journalism' (I use the term very loosely here) I've ever read. Still can't decide whether she's attempting to be witty.. Hey ho, I'll just carry on with my "obsessively plant-based life", being "unwell and pallid" and continue to cook my "dull, lentil-based, cheeseless" food 🙄

I've been busy making food for the lovely Karen Wellbeing Wave this weekend for her men's (yesterday) and ladies (today) day retreats in Llysfaen. Pics show this morning's breakfast bowls and a courgette, tofu & pesto tart made with homemade walnut pastry - just about to go back in the oven ready for lunch 😋

Not entirely food related, but just wanted to give a massive shout out to my boy Oshi Adey who graduated from Warwick Uni this week with a First Class BSc Hons degree 🥰
He's been my biggest cheerleader since I did my very first catering job back in 2019 and has stepped up to help with so many events and jobs over the years. I'm gutted to be losing his calm and efficient help here when things get chaotic.. but unbelievably excited for him to move on to his next chapter. I have absolutely no doubt he's going to ace it whatever the future brings for him! 🥂

It's the best feeling ever when I've hosted a supper club night, spent most of the day clearing up and cleaning.. but then it's time to plate up all the random leftovers for my supper! 😋
Will post actual pics of what I served tomorrow when my brain is working again 😉
