Interested in natural building? This summer we are running a complete roundhouse build course! Participants will be part of the whole process from planning, foundations and timber design, through craft of a reciprocal frame, and topping it off with a green roof. We’re based on an organic and ecologically-focused farm overlooking Coniston Water in the Lake District.

The 9 day course will work with local green timber in an ancient woodland, sharing stories and communal meals as we go. To find out more information, see the link in our bio, and do get in touch with us if you have any questions. We’re really looking forward to this one!😍

We are pleased to offer organic meat to order! We have lamb, either half lamb or single cuts, and beef, single cuts, available to order on a monthly basis.

All of our animals spend the whole year outside, grazing rotationally across our land. Our low stocking densities help us to be lighter on the land, allowing for healthier pastures and hay meadows that feed our animals. 🌾

Please get in touch if you would like more information and to make orders. You can get in touch via:

Join us for an afternoon looking at the small things, exploring our ancient woodland and old coppice woodland, looking for and recording the diversity of mosses, liverworts and lichens. Bryophytes is the collective term for mosses and liverworts but we will also record lichens that we find too! We will also give a short farm tour to share our history, values, and practices.

Continuing the lost pig story - well wishers have shared these action shots - has anyone seen her?
