Please remember we are a tiny hobbyfarm, all run from our back garden, and we love sharing it.
The birds free-roam here because it’s their home, so please bear that in mind if you have little ones who might be scared of them.

Our garden is always a work in progress and we could be in the middle of a new project, cleaning out, or repairing. Please bear with us — our birds need to be kept up to date with all the latest developments!
Things do take us a little longer as it’s just myself and my husband Garry, we’re both retired and getting on, and Garry has an autoimmune condition.

You can pop by any time of day to buy our fresh eggs.
We have an egg collection box, an honesty box, and a QR code for payments.
All money made from the sale of our eggs goes straight back into feeding our animals ❤️

Come and feed the birds, have a look around, and have a chat!
We’re not a business, just a couple who love what we do and love meeting like-minded people.

As we’re so small, could you please message us first before visiting so we know you’re coming? We’d hate for you to turn up and be disappointed.

Due to repeated offenses of ‘Box Hoarding’ and ‘Egg Dirtying’, suspects have been caught on CCTV knocking the camera over.

This is a reminder to all our beautiful laying hens, that we have 6 clean nest boxes. YES 6️⃣.
Yet you ALL choose to cram into one, turn it into a mud spa, and lay eggs in it.

Ladies, the other nest boxes are NOT decorative. Stop treating this one like a playground & bedroom.

The Midnight Sneak-Thieves 🐔✨

Every night when the little hens tuck their heads under their wings to sleep, tiny sneaky visitors crawl out.

They’re called Red Mites.
They’re so small you can barely see them, but they’re HUNGRY.

While the hens are dreaming, the mites have a midnight picnic.
Nibble, nibble. Sip, sip.
They drink a tiny bit of the hen’s blood while she sleeps.

One mite isn’t much.
But hundreds of mites? That’s like trying to sleep with itchy mosquito bites all over!

The poor hens get so tired and itchy they can’t rest properly.
And when hens are tired and stressed, they get sad...
and they stop laying their beautiful eggs. 🥚

That’s why we have to be hen heroes!
We steam the coop, we spray, and we add the special magic dust.
This dust is DEFRA registered and safe — which means it’s okay for the hens and it’s still safe to eat their eggs.

Red mites are very sneaky. They can come into the cleanest of coops.
And getting rid of them is expensive and a lot of hard work from their Human Mummy Hen 💪

So please bear with us for a little while.
We will be limited on eggs for the time being, so it will be pre-order only.

Not to be mean to the mites... but to help our hens sleep soundly, feel happy, and lay eggs again.

Happy hens = Happy eggs = Happy us 💛
