We've been selling consistently high quality seasoned and kiln dried firewood all year round for the last 20 years. All of our timber is locally sourced in North Wales and kiln dried just 8 miles down the road. We're based in Tal y Cafn, Conwy, North Wales and can deliver direct to your home or business in the counties of Conwy, Denbighshire and Gwynedd. We deliver for free within a 10 mile radius

of our yard in Tal y Cafn, and charge £2 per mile outside of that area. We deliver the logs in cubic metre (1m wide, 1m deep & 1m high) loose loads, dumpy bags or nets (minimum order of 10 nets for delivery), and produce the logs in 3 different lengths: small 8” (20cm), medium 10" (25cm) or large 12” (30cm). We also sell nets of logs from our yard next door to Bodnant Food Centre on Mill Lane, just off the A470 in Tal-y-Cafn. Here we have an honesty trailer that is open 24/7 all year round, so you can just drive up and help yourself to the nets that you need and pay in cash as per the instructions. We offer nets of kindling, 10" hardwood, 10" softwood and also chunks/off-cuts.

It was all about resurfacing the yard last weekend. Grading and rolling/compacting 100 tonnes of road peelings. We now have a clean almost mud-free yard! Although we’re not sure how long it will last with all the rain but we’ll enjoy it while it lasts!

Moving the timber lengths on the yard is made so easy with the GR-8 Timber Trailer powered by the N114. We felt a tad disloyal to our favourite brand, the Massey Ferguson, but this Valtra is a beast, and the full swivel seat makes a helluva difference when using the crane on the timber trailer all day. Who needs one of those gaming consoles when you’ve got to work with 6 hydraulic control valves!

It was a busy weekend. Wynne and the lads finished building the new log shed on Friday 🥳 🙏🏼. We then spent the weekend organising the yard, moving crates in to the shed to continue the drying process and to keep them dry. The slats in the timber planks and the open side will help the air to continue to flow around the logs. Happy days 🤩💪🏻 we’re so pleased with it. Thanks Dylan Roberts Cyf, you’ve done a top job with the manufacturing of it and to Wynne and his crew for building it for us, superb job 👏🏼

Day 3: log shed build update. Fair play to Wynne and the guys, they still managed to get the back-boards installed yesterday despite the torrential rain throughout the day. Most people wouldn’t have turned-up 🌧️. There’s a nice gap between the boards to allow air flow to keep drying the logs. We’re pleased with how it looks too, the wood is in keeping with the surrounding area, looks nice, top job Dylan Roberts Cyf. The roof is being installed today 💪🏻 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 🪵
