A GOODBYE POST 👋 😢

As I sit here looking through old pictures of when we first opened Bobs, I cannot help but feel gratitude and appreciation of what we have accomplished - it has changed so much over the years including the menu 😜

Firstly our nominations for awards. It blows my mind that not only were we nominated, but were placed in these prestigious award ceremonies including a regional competition. A little coffee shop in Corby up against hundreds of other coffee shops 🤯

When we started ‘Bobs’, our aim was to bring something to Corby that we’ve never really had here. A coffee shop that not only serves fantastic barista style drinks and milkshakes but also a place you can come and eat locally sourced made from scratch food, with a cosy, comfy environment. We started with the burgers back in February’21 at the back end of the pandemic and it took off like we never could have imagined. This was followed closely by the coffee shop opening in June ‘21 - we were so excited that people loved us as much as we loved doing it and Bobs was born. Very nervously, we left our ‘normal’ jobs to work full time rather than trying to do both!

Over the years we have some wonderful people work for us, including family members that have helped out to keep our business ticking over - we will be forever grateful ! Thank you 🫶🏻

To Jade and Morgan, we cannot ‘Thank You’ enough ! Your loyalty and dedication to us and Bob’s will never be forgotten. You have both got us through days when we have both been ready to walk out 🤣🫣 We wish you all the love and success in the world and thank you for all your hardwork in helping us make Bob’s the success it was ! We have made lifelong friends in you both ♥️

To Matt Lapsley ( aka Bob - the man the shop was named after 🤣 ) We want to thank you for giving us the opportunity to realise our dreams ! You have helped us achieve so much behind the scenes - the shop makeovers, the crazy ideas, and when something goes wrong in the shop, one of us will say ‘I’ll phone Matt’ 🤣 and of course - delivering the burgers ! You are a one of a kind and had so much to deal with over the last five years, but have always been there for us when we have needed you - your a star ⭐️

Lastly to our wonderful customers ♥️ we have made so many fantastic friends over the years, and some that are no longer with us 😇 We have had so many messages about memories that have been created in our shop - birthdays, Christmas’s, wakes and most recently a baby shower 💙 Your continued support has never gone unnoticed, and without you supporting our business - we would never have been able to continue - Thank You so, so much 🙏🏻

We both would like to wish you a healthy and happy 2026 🥳

WOW 🤩 WHAT A WEEK ITS BEEN !!!!

Thank you so much for making our last full week at BOBS’s a special one !

Myself and Chris would like to say a heartfelt THANK YOU for the generosity and overwhelming comments about BOBS the presents and cards and overall kindness shown to us this last month 🫶🏻 We are truly going to miss our customers so much !
