Royal Enfields !.....but not the same bikes or riders that stopped by in June. Today was the first time Mick and Paul had visited us.

In the chat we found out that Mick (on the left) is a true motor bike enthusiast, he owns 18 bikes! And rides thousands of miles each year... And that he first started riding motor bikes at 8 years old, on farmland of course!

There has been a problem with the phone line and the internet for the last 3 days.

We have been told that an engineer will be coming next Tuesday, the soonest they can, apparently! 🙃

It is an issue with BT connection in the village.

So, if you have tried to email, telephone or have booked online in the last 3 days we may not have known!

New in today. Delicious cinnamon buns from Grains - a local micro bakery. Perfect with coffee from Two Chimps Coffee. We are open Tuesday to Saturday 9.30 - 4.

Meet Sylvia Grey, pictured in the blue overall, you might have some clues from the sweet branding as to when she ran the shop!

Today, her 3 daughters and son (pictured with Camille in the bottom right photo), a grand daughter, great grand daughter and some extended family members came and had afternoon tea on the terrace.

So many people who have come into the shop, during the 21 years that Camille has been running it, have very fond memories of Sylvia, it was a joy to meet her family today 🙂
