They're back - with a great new look! Artisan & Co Nut Roast Kits are plant-based, and contain whole ingredients, including over 60% nuts. We're stocking three varieties: Cranberry & Pecan; Roasted Red Pepper & Pine Nuts; Wild Mushroom, Garlic & Herbs. For air fryer or oven, they come with a baking tray and vegan gravy.

Despite all the sunshine this summer, we've been seeing many clients' blood test results show they're low on vitamin D. If you stay out of the sun, always wear sunscreen, and are showing any symptoms of deficiency, it might be a good idea to start supplementing. And remember, we could all benefit from taking vitamin D supplements from October until April, when we're not absorbing it through the skin from the sun.

Are you aware of how much fibre you're getting in your diet? It's good to take a look, and see where you can bring in more if needed. Fibre is so important for gut health and feeding your microbiome, as well as keeping your bowel movements regular.

It's a tough job, but we usually taste-test new products before they make it into the shop... and these Symplicity plant-based burgers and sausages passed the test. đŸ˜‹Made mainly from fermented vegetables, they're high in protein, a source of fibre, and very delicious!

It's always good when we can personally recommend something. Sarah has used many products for her naturally curly hair (when she's not straightening it!), and has been surprised how good these ones by Giovanni are... so we're now stocking them in the shop. Colour-safe, silicone and paraben free, vegan and infused with natural botanical ingredients.

We're sad to say Lesia will be leaving us soon, so we're looking for someone to join the team from the beginning of September, for 3 consecutive weekdays, 10.00-17.30. For this varied and busy role, you must be passionate about health, wellness and nutrition, be computer literate, have good customer skills, and work well in a team and on your own.
