The team recently installed a water aeration system in a Northumberland lake! 🫧

This system works to:

- Maintain healthy oxygen levels throughout the entire water column.

- Reduce the risk of algal blooms during the warmer summer months.

Canary Wharf welcomes an estimated 100,000 daily commuters and is home to a wide range of key operating businesses. With such a high volume of people using these public spaces, maintaining water features for public amenity remains especially important, particularly during the warmer months, when thermal stratification and odour generation become more common.

We are pleased to support these public space through the installation of one of our custom aeration and mixing systems, designed to reduce the effects of thermal stratification, anoxia, and odour generation while promoting effective water mixing.

That’s why our aeration and mixing systems play a crucial role in promoting better water quality conditions.

And that’s another annual service completed at Little Venice, Grand union Canal! This bubble barrier was Installed in 2020 and has been serviced by our team ever since. The system continues to prevent the downstream flow of litter duck w**d and debris and preserving water quality in the canal. Excellent work from the Flowthrough team once again!

A look back at one of the largest installations ISS Flowthrough have completed to date! Installed in Nieuwe Meer Holland, is our aeration/mixing system designed to control the presence of blue green algae growth whilst maintaining the cold water in the lower levels of the lake needed for abstraction to air conditioning systems in local businesses.

Following weeks of careful planning, preparation, and expert engineering, we are pleased to announce that ISS Flowthrough has installed another custom aeration system in Canary Wharf, London. That makes 4 bespoke systems now deployed in the Canary Wharf area alone!

The new system, found in Eden Dock, operates to maintain dissolved oxygen levels, prevent odour generation and stagnation and support aquatic ecology.
