Some annuals have finished for the season, but plenty are still going strong!
Even the finished plants are helping to nourish the soil as they naturally break down.
And there’s still plenty of garden-to-plate goodness to come!

🌱 Garden update🌱
The garden is definitely starting to show signs of the change into autumn,🍂 but there’s still plenty going on!
The squashes are ready for harvesting, while the first shield bugs have arrived and seem to be taking refuge amongst the dahlias — which are still putting on an absolutely awesome show. 🌸
The cooler weather has also given the radishes a boost, and after the recent rain and drop in temperatures, the nasturtiums have come back to life too. 🌱
It looks like the flowers still have a few more weeks left in them yet, so we’re not quite saying goodbye to summer just yet! 🌼

Another week of growing, harvesting and keeping everything ticking along in the kitchen garden.
The rain has given everything a real boost, and seedlings are popping up everywhere! 🌱 The squash plants are also starting to produce lots of lovely fruit, and there’s still plenty to harvest. 🍅🥒🌻
