And we’re back 👋…..school holidays are officially over which means I can get back to posting regularly and keeping you all up to date! Plenty in the counter today to tempt you, Kebabs for those who aren’t ready to lose the bbq yet and of course some of our amazing Hunters Chicken and Kievs! 🌾 The drought is already taking its toll.

We’re having to feed the cows earlier than we normally would because the grass just isn’t there. They should be grazing the lush green grass but dry conditions like these puts the pressure on farmers, livestock and livelihoods.

And it’s not just us farmers who feel the impact — drought can lead to higher food costs and potential shortages, making it more important than ever to support and buy from British farmers. 🇬🇧🐄

Hoping for some much-needed rain soon. 🌧️

🍯 🐝 We’ve got our first batch of this seasons Honey on the shelves already and it’s so high in Pollen with a low water content that it’s set already! Perfect for all the Hayfever sufferers as this stuff is packed with the pollen that you react to…..a spoonful a day, every day of the year and you’ll be well on the way to building a resistance to it! 🙌🤩

The honey will liquify again if gently heated (to be fair if you leave it out in the sun ☀️ in this weather that’ll do that job too!) 👍🏻

What a great day we had last Sunday at the South of England Agricultural Society's , offering game meat tasters to hundreds of people. Our thanks to South of England Hound Show for inviting us to join them and Grange Farm Shop, Crawley Down for supplying enough game meat to deliver over 650 tasters.
