I’ve been wanting to do something a little different with The Outlook, so I’m running a Rural Business Finance Day for farmers, rural business owners and anyone supporting them.
As a Chartered Accountant, I spend a lot of time helping people make sense of the numbers behind their business — not just producing accounts, but understanding what those figures actually mean.
So on the day we’ll be looking at things like:
📊 Understanding your accounts
💷 Costs, margins and profitability
🌿 Cash flow and forecasting
📌 VAT and tax considerations
🚜 Making better business decisions
✨ Identifying opportunities to improve performance
It will be practical, relaxed and very much a chance to ask questions — no accounting jargon and no expectation that you need to be one of my clients.
