Perfect picnic weather!

It's National Picnic Week and today's market is full of delicious products for a fantastic spread! Why not pick up a basket from Vanessa and fill it with pickled eggs from South Molton Country Market, strawberries from Scotts Farm Produce at South Molton, cheese, crackers and pate from South Molton Market Cheese Stall and Yetland Farm, stuffed Olives from Olives +, pork pie from Farmhouse Pies and Pasties, apple juice from Little Emlett Orchard, quiche from Deanie’s Delights and bread rolls and Victoria sponge from Countrycottagebakery Bideford ..... you just have to find the perfect picnic spot!

Volunteers wanted (cats need not apply!)

If you fancy spending an hour or two outdoors in the autumn sunshine over the next month or two we would love some help picking our apples which we turn into tasty apple juice!

Go at your own pace, bring a friend or family - and tea and coffee or apple juice (and maybe cake 😀) will be provided.

Apple pulp for piggies? We are apple pressing regularly all the way through to end of November. Anyone want to feed their pigs or livestock, you are more than welcome to join our rota of farmers / smallholders.
