MILFIELDS FLOCK ANNIVERSARY

We have just completed 15 years as Hampshire Down breeders, and still finding things to learn. However we remain even more confident of the breed in this commercial world. We are Signet referenced, but still see a value in the farmer’s judgement, with hand on the back etc. Of the many criteria that Signet gives we place much of our breeding on fast growth and high muscle scores with moderate fat. The Hampshire has proved many times the benefits this gives the commercial farmer, in terms of cost (grass fed ) and grading . This year we sold all our rams off farm to repeat customers or from recommendations. We thank them and wish them a profitable 2018.
