Dyfed Shire Horse Farm open this Sunday 10.45am onwards. Sir David Attenborough our grey foal and Mullin our gelding love to meet & greet visitors. Cafe offering hot/cold drinks with indoor play area for the young uns.

Paul Sartori Pembrokeshire charity car run on Sunday Sept 6th. Phenomenal turn out in the Autumn 🌞 Jeffrey Edwards with est excess of 300 cars calling at Dyfed Shires. Look forward to seeing you again next year Pete Sharpe Horse manure free to good home!

The end of the season is drawing closer. Our 4 foals are still welcoming guests, esp Charlie who has a new best friend in Pumpkin the Sec D but still loves to be bottle fed. Open today, Bank Holiday Monday, Sept 1st, 3rd & 6th. Thanks Julie Davies for some of these cracking pictures.

🤠🍕 Bank Holiday Sunday Live Music & Pizza Night! 🍕🤠

We'll be hosting an evening of Country & Western and pizza with Dave Owens this Bank Holiday Sunday evening, 30th August!

With a licensed bar and food served in our Caffi Celt from 7pm and music from 8pm, admission is FREE.

🐴👏 Big News for Big H! 👏🐴

We are excited to announce that our 4 year old Suffolk Punch 'Big H' left us last month to join The Household Cavalry in London and is settling in well!

Born on the farm in April 2022 to our Suffolk mare Dixie Pearl, he was named after our late Uncle Howard Lewis who passed away the same month that Big H was born.

Having grown into a strong and handsome chap, we broke Big H in to ride and he competed under saddle earlier this year and did himself proud!

He is now settling into London life where he will be trained up, all being well, to serve as a senior officers' horse in the Household Division.

We look forward to hearing of progress and wish one of our most recent farm favourites all the best for his next exciting adventure, with the British Army.

The Pembrokeshire Class of 2026 foals doing well despite the dry weather. 3 foals here out of 4 in all.

1. Grey C**t foal, early May
2. Suffolk X Sports Horse C**t foal, mid April.
3 Bay C**t foal, early July.
4. Black C**t foal - bottle reared, early May, no pic.

All foals love to meet our farm visitors. Open Sun/Tues/Wed/Thurs for rest of Aug & early Sept. Some foals will be offered for sale come the Autumn. [email protected] for further info.
