Farewell from The Food Haven 👋
Hopefully I can remember how to post here, it's been sooo long!! 🫣
I have decided to hang up my apron permanently this time for The Food Haven kitchen! Sadly there'll be no more Sticky Sausage sauce, fudge or my Christmas puddings!
I have debated over and over what to do, and I feel this is the right decision for us as a family, so apologies it has taken so long to share this news with you all. So many of you have reached out to me directly or to stockists to hear when I'd restock, and the truth is, I didn't know what to tell people as I genuinely didn't know myself!
I am so thankful to each and every one of you for supporting me with purchases, interacting with me on social media and for so many friendship bonds created with other small business owners or customers! I have such fond memories of this period in my life of the Food Haven 2021-2024.
My reason for starting this business was to have a much better home/life balance. I am managing a couple of other projects and feel I no longer have the time to offer to The Food Haven and be able to maintain that goal of prioritising family life.
On a separate note, we are settling really well into our new family home. It took much longer than expected to change our kitchen, with tradesmen still due next week to finish up, which is from moving in 11th October! Despite any unexpected road-bumps we absolutely love it here and have never looked back. 🏡
