On Saturday afternoon we moved the older chickens over to their new home. Then on Sunday we cleaned out the bigger brooder and moved the baby chicks into a the bigger brooder for them to explore 🐥 🐓🐔

Happy Friday everyone!

Sorry I have been a bit quiet on here, I hope you all had a lovely Easter weekend 🐰🐣

I’m really excited to share that my mother in laws cabin arrived yesterday and we are all so happy with it. Thank you so much it’s just beautiful and so spacious I highly recommend them 🤩

My mother in law had to move in with us due to having type 1 diabetic and having the neuropathy. She wanted to give us our own space and wanted her own space so decided to go with to build her very own cabin/home 🫶

Here a update on the chicks 🐣

So on my last post we had 3 silkie chicks hatched 🐥 But we have now welcomed 6 more baby chicks!

We have a variety of different breeds:
Golden tops chick
Frizzle welsummer chicks
Gold partridge Brahma
Blue partridge Brahma

We decided that the old brooder was going to be too small for them so my partner built them a bigger brooder and we have also brought some chick toys from amazon for them to explore!

Happy Thursday

We are excited to share that we have 3 new arrivals just before easter 🐣🐥🐣

As you have seen on my story that we have been hatching our own chicks. We have had 3 arrivals the past couple of days.

So here the three little arrivals which are

Sylvie- the silver coloured silkie
Shelby- the black coloured silkie
Sable- the youngest of them all so far the silvery/black silkie

We are still waiting on a few more to hatch and can’t wait to share this with you 🐣🐥🐣

February round up so far!

1 and 2 - The best of friends just enjoying life
3 - Murphy morning rolls 🥰
4 - Nellie steals Winnie bed and acting like a princess 👸
5 - Spring is slowly blossoming 🌼🌸🌼
6 - Winnie 🐷
7 - Medusa and her babies all snuggled up 🫶
8 - We had to move the pgymy goats into the garage due to the rubbish weather these past few days. But all the babies enjoyed playing together which was the cutest 🥰
9, 10, 11, 12 - The carpets in all the upstairs room have been fitted yesterday and we are so happy to finally be to sleep in our new bed with our amazing new bed frame we are obsessed with 😍 Next up is to start putting up the wardrobes and media wall and the room will be fully transformed 🥰
13 & 14 - Winnie and Frank both being needy this morning and wanting snuggles which I’m not complaining 🥰
15, 16 & 17 - This morning in this drizzly weather to feed the sheep and see Murphy adorable face 🫶

Hope February 2026 have been good for yous and loved to hear what you guys have been up too 🫶

Happy Saturday everyone! I’m excited to finally share the surprise of our travels on Thursday morning. So early morning on Thursday we took a trip up to Scotland to collect some pygmy goats. So here the new additions to the farm. We have 2 nanny goats which both have set of boy and girl twins who are only a week old. And a black nanny goat which maybe pregnant with kids (so can’t wait) 🙌🙌 We decided to name them after greek gods so let me introduce them to yous. First the white nanny goat is called Medusa (she was a bit of a pickle in the car ride home) her two babies are called Apollo (white one) and the female called- Aphrodite. Then the other nanny who is a greyish colour is called Athena and her two twins are Percy (short for Perseus) and Persephone (who is a little nightmare at times but we love her). Then last but not least is Iris who is pregnant and we had to move her on her own into our downstairs bathroom for now until she has her kid or maybe kids

So yesterday early morning we did a thing! We decided to take a long journey. Can anyone guess where we went ?
