We have taken on a new venture 😁🍔🎂
Unfortunately it's a bit further away from cumnock

We will be opening a new takeaway deli on Irvine highstreet very soon

Opening Tues 22nd April

‼️ Information about our closure ‼️

We are really sad to say we are closing the hole in the wall after only a few months of opening

& wanted to explain why

This is due to the councils ridiculous lease for the public toilets next door !!
Many of you who we have spoken to will know that this has been an on going issue for some time now.

The council have been a nightmare to deal with from day 1 & refuse to negotiate
Wanting us to pay for ongoing maintenance of the public toilets and their building as a condition of the lease.
As the toilets are old and seem in need of constant repair, in the few months we've been there, this would almost certainly put us seriously out of pocket.
The council don't seem to know their running costs 🤔 - or they just don't want to tell us !!

We refuse to be taken for mugs !!!

It's a shame as we've put in loads of hard work over the last few months getting the hole in the wall sorted & were really enjoying being there.

Thank you to each & everyone who has visited us 😊
Everyone has been amazing, so supportive & friendly and we've loved chatting to you all

The school kids have all been great, very well mannered and well behaved 😃

If anyone is thinking of taking on this venture in the future I would think very carefully about it.
If anyone does take it - Good luck
We think you'll need it !! 😉

Lastly we are really sad to have to walk away from this so soon, but we feel it's the best decision in the circumstances

Breaking: Stagecoach have announced via it's Mobile app that ALL bus services will not operate in a red zone area, this includes Ayrshire 🔴

Update: All services will be suspended until at least 17:00 tomorrow with the exception of those in Dumfries which are believable to be operating as normal as Dumfries town area is an Amber warning.

All bus services will be suspended tomorrow Friday 24th January, this is actually a first for Stagecoach in this area and just shows how dangerous Storm Eowyn will be
