Logie Farm Life Logie farm extends around 500 acres and is situated on the "Gold Coast of Fife". We also run The Snug at Logie Farm 🙂

We grow cereals, rent land for vegetables, have a herd of pedigree Charolais cattle and a flock of around 600 breeding ewes/ 150 hogs.

It’s pretty wet today here… had some fencing jobs to do first thing, the snug changeovers and then definitely office work before dinner. Maybe we are being optimistic given it’s now almost 4pm lol 🤔😀

A bit of foraging at the farm this afternoon. Logie, like many of the farms round here, used to be big producers of soft fruit and/ or apples/ pears etc. We are fortunate that some of the original orchard is still here. The apples 🍎 are delicious. We are not sure of the variety - can anyone assist identifying these?

Ok last one….. this was awesome. Back to farming this morning but what great music! We were also amazed how easily Bonjovi got off his knees during a 🎶…. Andy and I would have needed to use the handrail but not him!

Jo here- It’s our wedding anniversary…. We have been lucky to have had many happy years together through good and tough times. So by complete coincidence regarding dates, I’m taking Andy to see Bonjovi! As much as we love the farm, it’s good to get off it now and again. After an incredibly busy time a few hours off, to remind ourselves there is life beyond the farm, is much needed. Time to rock and roll 🤘🏼

Morning 🌅 Well that’s me parked up following some ☔️ showers. Will need to wait for it to dry up before I can bring in any more straw bales. They are better getting time to dry outside than being stored inside and heating because they are damp. Hoping to get back to it this afternoon if it stays dry with a good breeze.

Got the tups in tonight to do a bit of work with the lads before Lockerbie in a few weeks time. We have five park North Country Cheviot shearlings forward - pleased with them all. They do need a good scrub though!
