Little Black Hen I have always had a passion for cooking. A small established business specialising in bespoke cakes for any celebration.

As well as bespoke cakes for all occasions, I make artisan jams, chutneys and fruit vinegers, by hand in small batches in in my home registared Carmarthenshire Kitchen. I really wish you could smell this cooking. I know I shouldn’t have a favourite but I think the red onion and cranberry chutney might just be up there as one of mine.
It’s a versatile little number, great with cheeses and turkey but I love it in a chicken sandwich with a little mayo and lettuce or with Brie in a toastie.
Darn it I’ve made myself hungry thinking about lunch now!

So I was up early this morning and making jam.
Naturally after finishing everything in the kitchen I thought I may have to sample (some for quality control purposes obvs…… )
I can confirm that the new Christmas jam is delicious and I managed to take a quick photo before I scoffed the lot!!
It’ll be available on the website tomorrow when I’ve done all the necessary bits and pieces to get it all labelled up!!
