Will there be food on our Open Farm Sunday event?

Absolutely! We produce food on our farm and we want to showcase that.

We will be serving marinated BBQ rump with a selection of home made salads.

Also our own Burgers, our world famous sausage on a stick, and delicious bacon rolls.

If that is not enough, we will have selection of tasty home baking (all monies raised from this will go towards Dallas Community Development Trust who are fundraising for a multi purpose pitch in our wee village).

Then to cool off, Lower Mill of Tynet Farm will have a selection of deliciously creamy ice cream along with some organic A2 milk.

So you certainly won't go hungry!!

Open Farm Sunday at Edinvale 🚜🌱

We’re opening the farm this weekend for Open Farm Sunday and would love to see you there.

There will be plenty going on across the day, including:

Farm Walk and Talk 🐮
Come and see how we farm, why we do what we do, and how our cattle, grass, soil and wildlife all fit together. Or tune out and enjoy the views!

Butchery Demo 🔪
A chance to see one of our expert butchers from Macbeth's

Lambing Simulator with Moray Coast Vet Group 🐑
A chance to test your lambing skills, kindly run by the team at Moray Coast Vets.

Bees and Honey Demonstration by Triskele Bees, Honey and Crafts 🐝🍯
Learn more about bees, honey and the important role pollinators play on farms and in the wider countryside.

Ice Cream, Milk and all things Dairy with Lower Mill of Tynet Farm 🍦🥛

Beat the Goalie with ForresmechanicsOfficial Youth Development ⚽🥅
A chance for the young folk, and probably a few competitive adults, to test their shooting skills.

Bouncy Castles and Face Painting 🎨🏰

Because no good day out is complete without a fine piece.

We are opening our gates for Open Farm Sunday.

Come and see us, learn what we do, kids can have a wee bounce on the bouncy castles and everyone can enjoy a tasty lunch and off course some cakes.

All gate monies will be going to , all tea shed monies will be going to the Dallas Community Development Trust.

If the smell of fresh bread doesn't lure you when walking down Tolbooth Street maybe this post is a sign to pop along and pick up some freshly baked sourdough and/or bagels.

Open Saturday 9.30am - 1.30pm
Monday - Friday 9.30am - 4.30pm

Baking days are Wednesday, Friday and Saturday 😊

Some more goodies arrived in the post today from Open Farm Sunday. Not long to go now until the big day. Looking forward to welcoming folk here and keeping our fingers crossed for nice weather.
