Open Farm Sunday

Wow, what a day! Thank you to all those that came and visited our farm to allow us share a little of what we do.

We (or actually Tim) cleaned the sheds out and you guys filled them with inquisitive minds, smiles and laughter and for that we are truly grateful.

Ma-moo-sive thank you to Tim, Sarah and our colleagues from Macbeth's who have worked doubly hard to help us prepare for the day. Very special thanks to our family and friends who came and chopped veg, baked, shifted things or directed traffic - without them all it may have been a shambles.

We were really delighted to have join us:

Lower Mill of Tynet Farm with their organic milk and very tasty creamy ice cream.
Bees, Honey and Crafts with their bees, honey and willingness to share knowledge on all things bees.
Robbie from Moray Coast Vet Group who came along with an interactive 'hands in' lambing simulator which was enjoyed by all ages.
Rory from The Woodland Trust chatting all things trees.

The Dallas Community Development Trust did an ace job serving hot drinks and home baking and raised a good amount which will be a real boost to fundraising efforts.

The parents and coaches of ForresmechanicsOfficial who ran the Beat the Goalie competition ensuring footballs were flying throughout the day.
