Hardstones Farm We are a family ran sheep farm in County Durham. We currently run a flock of just under 2000 breeding sheep.

Our aim is to help provide learning material for all and to welcome the next generation for educational trips via local schools.

With 28 sheep left in the shed, the end is near for lambing 2026 🥳

It's been a long few months!
Chuck in a family holiday, knee surgery, family birthdays and over 200 pet lambs safe to say I'm over it 😂

We've had some fantastic students this year who have certainly lightened the load for us - you know who you are ⭐

I will continue to share farming content throughout the year for anyone interested ❤️

Charlie is a 12 year old pet lamb, who I hand reared from the day she was born. She was the runt out of a quad litter who was so weak she lived in the house.

Throughout her years it became apparent she was totally infertile and has never been a mum. But in the last few years she has been an incredible auntie. And she adopts any lambs nearby. The teeswater babies have become her latest clutch of babies. And it melts my heart to see 🥹🩷

So getting little boosts can make a massive difference to my mood come the end of the day. One of my final spotty girls of the year to lamb has had a stonking gimmer lamb (female). And isn't she just beautiful 🥹
