New week, some changes, same Carvery 🙂 Sunday lunch served 12-3 every Sunday, call or message to book, walkins welcome, deliveries and collections too 🙂The Highland Laddie Darlington

Officially our last day running the Hustle Carvery, and what a day to end on…. You came in force, almost had us to our knees at points there was that many of you 🙂

To put it in perspective

38 kilo of beef
10 kilo of turkey
9 kilo of lamb
14 kilo of pork
12 kilo of brisket
8 kilo of gammon

Wiped us out to the point we didn’t even get a dinner u greedy lot of monkeys 🙂

Seriously, we’ve been tested building Hustle the last couple of years, hasn’t all been rosey, but we’ve had some great times getting here, great memories and met some of the best people doing so at both Hustle and the Highland Laddie . Its been stressful , a tad bonkers, some tears and a lot of giggles , We have an amazing team from those on front of house to those working away in the kitchen, from the Carvery to Michelle’s unbeatable buffets , couldn’t have done it without any of them and it’s gonna be missed, so yeah a massive thank you from Michelle & Myself and the team at Hustle , it’s been a blast and we genuinely took no pleasure coming to the decision to leave Hustle, but time to move on ( and get a holiday booked asap ) , one last Shout out to Ste and his team at the laddie, we worked as a solid unit between the 2 businesses and that’s hard to find these days and wish them all the very best in future.

Howether, The Highland Hustle will continue with its carvery, its under new management , you will see us popping in and out for the next month while we work with them during this transition, same Carvery, new team and we’re Confident there gonna smash it, updates will remain On this page for time being, bookings, deliveries, pre orders all as normal and we hope you support them as much as you have us 🙂

Last couple

Customer notice…..

Thanks to all who came and wiped us out today, a complete sell out again, which also makes the following even harder to write , please read till the end…

Hard one to write this but here goes, after months of going back n forth, changes in our personal circumstances and our full time work becoming more and more demanding we have took the very difficult decision to call it a day with our Hustle Carvery 😞 it’s simply got to the point where summat has to give and with reluctantancy , this is it, we’re burnt out and we’re exhausted trying to juggle everything and were simply struggling to keep that happy balance between work and family life. 😞

Before we go any further we would just like say a massive Thanks to Ste, Nicole, there team and the customers at the The Highland Laddie Darlington for having us these past couple of years, brilliant local pub with a brilliant crowd that’s just gone from strength to strength week in week out. Very welcoming from day 1, let us do our thing our way without any issues and we work great as a combined team, it will be surely missed.

Michelle and Myself will be running the Carvery upto and including our final Carvery on Sunday 6th September, we would love to see you all for One last carvery and we’ll be ensuring it’s a belter. But please read on..

Carvery at the Highland Laddie is hoping continue under Ste and his teams management, just bear with them while they figure out the logistics and get things put into place and we hope you all support them as much as you have us , they really are great people and I’m sure will be banging out a belting Carvery/ Sunday Lunch in no time, we will always be on hand to help where we can if it’s needed.

Its been a blast building Hustle from scratch for the 2nd time, and are genuinely gutted letting Hustle go, whilst being incredibly proud of what’s been achieved and it’s the people , the customers and the weekly interactions that I’ll miss more than anything.

We would like to thank all our customers/friends for the continued support, the friendship and the giggles along the way.

Hustle carvery will be running as normal upto and including the 6th September .
