⛴️ 🚚 All the way from the Isle of Lewis to Cockerton!

Our cabinet is once again stocked with the award-winning Black Pudding from Macleod & Macleod — and if you’ve tried it before, this will be music to your ears 😋

Made in Stornoway using traditional methods, this is proper Scottish black pudding with a fantastic flavour and texture. It’s a firm favourite with our customers and something a little bit special to add to your breakfast, fry-up or even a delicious homemade dinner.

Has anyone added it into a stew yet? It’s a game changer!

If you’ve never tried it, why not pick some up and see what all the fuss is about?

💡 A little tip - don’t over cook it! It may feel firm when you take it out of the fridge but it soon softens in the pan!

Mid week Meal inspiration

Award-Winning Homemade Lasagne

One of our biggest sellers this week is our homemade lasagne – and it’s award-winning too.

It achieved 3 Gold Stars in the 2025 Product Evaluation Awards, and went on to win Overall Winner in the Cook at Home Ready Meal category.

Made with minced beef from our own butchery, it’s layered with rich Italian tomato sauce, pasta sheets, and finished with a cheesy béchamel and grated cheddar.

It’s a firm customer favourite, with many regular repeat buyers.

Cook at 180°C for 35 minutes.
£7.50 each or 2 for £14.

Looking for something a little different for tea tonight?

We’ve got you covered! 😋

Introducing our Homemade Chicken Enchiladas — freshly made in the shop and packed full of flavour.

🍗 Tender chicken fillets seasoned with Mexican spices and marinated in our fabulous Mexican sauce, combined with sliced onions and peppers, all wrapped in soft tortilla wraps.

We then brush them with our slightly spicy Mexican marinade, add more of that delicious Mexican sauce and finish with a generous sprinkle of mozzarella & cheddar cheese. 🧀

Simply pop them in the oven at 180°C for 30 minutes and you’ve got a delicious, homemade-style tea with minimum fuss!
