Our beautiful boy Frank has some new ladies for the winter — providing he behaves himself 🥰❤️

Frank has produced some stunning chicks this year, but it’s now time for his Brahma girls to have some well-deserved rest.

Fences are coming down, a little reshuffle is happening, and there’ll be much more space for all of them to stretch their legs and enjoy themselves until Spring ☔️🌿

These two Bluebell girls were almost identical 6 months ago! 💙🐔

The girl in the first photo went through a horrendous moult and got herself into really poor condition. We treated her for mites, lice and anything else we could think of, but before she had a chance to fully recover, she decided she was going broody! 🤦‍♀️

After a couple of weeks trying to break her, we gave in and gave her some eggs. She turned out to be a fantastic mum, raising her 3 chicks brilliantly.

Once the chicks were grown, she decided motherhood was over, flew over our 6ft fence and went straight back to the flock! 😂

Look at her now! She’s a completely different chicken and one of our prettiest girls. 🥰

The second girl is starting to get some darker feathers coming through too… so we’re guessing she’s going to follow suit! 💙

We have waited a very long time for this very special trio ❤️

They’re finally here, and we absolutely cannot wait to see what they produce and to start hatching some chicks next spring! 🐣❤️

A huge thank you to Simon Crook for letting us have them, and to our good friend David Watson for doing the courier run and bringing them safely home to us. 🥰

We’re so excited for the future of this little trio and can’t wait to share their journey with you all! 🐥🐔❤️

We have some beautiful young Brahma cockerels here ready for their new homes and flocks of their own 🐓. Gold partridge, splash, blue, black/mottled available.

Brahmas are a gentle giant of the poultry world – known for their calm temperament, impressive size and gorgeous feathered feet.

Photos of the dads are included in the pictures so you can see where they have come from.

A cockerel plays an important role in a flock. Not only will he fertilise eggs if you’re looking to hatch, but he’ll also keep a watchful eye on his girls – sounding the alarm, helping them find food, and often acting as a natural protector and leader.

As always, we’re looking for the very best homes 🏡
