Meet the new pasta chef!

Yes, it's me - Veronika. 😊

After eight years, I've come full circle and am heading back to where it all began when I first opened the shop: the kitchen.

With such an amazing front-of-house team looking after our customers, I feel comfortable stepping away from the counter. I'll really miss the daily chats about pasta, travelling and life, but I'm looking forward to focus on cooking and making sure every pasta dish is prepared with the care and quality you deserve.

A quick reminder that the shop is CLOSED TODAY ONLY for a planned staff training and deep cleaning. 😊

We are back open tomorrow from 11 am to 2 pm serving fresh pasta dishes, cook at home meals, delicious pizza twists, the most amazing brownies and tiramisu.

Guys, just a quick reminder that our shop will be closed next Tuesday, 16th June, for a staff training. But you still have time to pre-order your cook at home meals for this weekend. 🙌

Family pasta bakes, lasagne, fresh pasta and sauces, Spaghetti Bolognese (yep, it's not Italian, but still so tasty). 😍

Behind the scene 📷

We have been really busy behind the scene recently with cooking classes, catering and team building events. 😊

Last night we had a masterclass with some great students from Darlington college. They learnt how to use extruder to produce fresh pasta and how to work with different types of flour in order to create different dough and pasta shapes.

Then we cook fresh pasta and offered them to taste our homemade tiramisu. It was a long day but it's all worth it. Absolutely amazing experience! 🙌

We are open from 11 am to 2 pm all week long and will take a break for one day only next Tuesday, 16th June for a planned staff training. | The Pasta Shop Darlington

2] Nduja! - homemade tomato and creamy sauce, spicy nduja and chicken

3] Spanish chicken pasta bake: chicken, garlic, tomato, garlic, cream, crumbled chorizo and roasted peppers

We have Bolognese gnocchi bake to cook at home available in our fridge this week + pasta salads and lasagne! 😍

We are so excited to announce three dates for our SPECIAL edition Pasta and Prosecco night at :

27th May | 15th July | 12th August

It's Wednesday, 6.30 pm.

A perfect excuse to go out, meet new people, learn more about Italian cuisine, catch up with a friend, enjoy a glass of Prosecco and take home a portion of fresh pasta to cook later!
