Every cake has a story... and this one definitely gave us a laugh! 😂
Yesterday's beauty was for the gorgeous Ariana as she celebrated her 18th birthday.
So, here's what happened...
Me: "What time is the cake for?"
Customer: "7"
Me: "7pm?"
Customer: "Morning, yes please."
Somehow, I read it as 7 in the morning and thought, "Wow... that's an early party!"
I arrived at the venue after an hours drive only to find... absolutely nobody there! After a quick phone call, we diverted the cake to their house instead. Then came the next challenge—I couldn't carry the cake upstairs! So, on a hot summer day, we carefully left it in the shade inside the customer's car until it was time to head to the venue.
Thankfully, the cake arrived safely, looked just as beautiful as when it left the cake house, and Ariana had a wonderful celebration.
Some cake deliveries are smooth... and some become unforgettable stories! 😂
