We have now had the new till system for a week, there have been a few teething problems but for a the most part the role out of the tills has been successful! With customers commenting about how nice they look and how easy they are to use.
We would like to remind all customers that we have a zero tolerance to abuse towards staff, you will be asked to leave the store and not return.

We have a new till system being installed and will be active from tomorrow morning, these are flexi tills - A flexi till is a checkout that can switch between different modes, such as staffed checkout and self-checkout, or a till that staff can open when extra checkout capacity is needed.
We have only just had training on them and ask that you have patience in store while the staff are getting use to the new tills, these tills will be card only but staff can take a cash payment.
Any abuse towards staff will not be tolerated!

We are currently experiencing issues with our card machines in store, please bring cash with you, the cash machine outside is also down, but there is an engineer in looking at it, we have no control over the cash machine.
Please remember to be nice and respectful to staff when in store, we understand how frustrating it is when Tec is down but there is nothing we can do.
