We will just be open Wednesday & Thursday this week.

This is due to the market being shut on Good Friday and suppliers for our stock not working too.

Please remember that we can Vacuum Pack our delicious cooked meat in any quantity you need.

The word for today is WOW !!

This morning we had a surprise visit from a lovely lady from the Lancashire Evening Telegraph.

She had come to tell us that not only had we been nominated for their Best Sandwich Shop 2026 award but that we have been voted into the Top 10. This covers Darwen, Blackburn, Hyndburn, Pendle, Rossendale and the Ribble Valley

We would just like to thank everyone who has voted for us, this has come as a complete surprise to us.

So from the bottom of our hearts THANK YOU🥰, THANK YOU🥰, THANK YOU!!!!🥰

The next stage of the awards, will be to vote through a coupon for the top 10 nominees which will be in the paper from Monday 16th to Saturday 28th March.
Whoever has the most votes, Wins 🏆

Happy New Year!

New Year, New Start means for a lot of people choosing healthier options. Made by Mel has come up with these delicious healthier treats. 😋

Overnight Oats with chocolate chips and raspberries or apple and home-made granola.

Fruity Flapjack with cranberries, raisins and mixed seeds.

Oat and Cranberry cake.

We have personally sampled the fruity flapjack and the oat cake and it's really good 👍

Exactly a week to go until the xmas feasting begins!!

So this is final call for anyone who wants fresh pies, homemade coleslaw, cooked meat & full joints, fruit pies, picky boxes to get your orders in no later than noon tomorrow (Friday 19th December)

By putting your order in, this will ensure you get what you need.

Once we have fulfilled all the orders, we will only have a limited amount of stock left, once it's gone it's gone! As will will be closed from Xmas eve and reopening on Wednesday 7th January.

Christmas is definitely on its way!!

We are still taking orders for xmas!

Did you know that we do Joints of cooked Roast Ham, Roast Beef & Roast Turkey. These are fabulous for A Jacobs Join, Xmas Party, Boxing Day party etc.

We do made to measure Hampers, simply choose what you want to go in them and we'll do the rest!

We also do picky boxes, perfect for those evenings when you don't want to cook or for xmas eve when you've finally finished all the last minute wrapping and just fancy something a little different.

All of Tthese must be ordered in advance.

Another fantastic tractor run last night, despite the weather, the streets were packed with spectators!! I know that Brocklehead Farm and the event organisers work so hard to put this event on, so a massive congratulations to them for doing a fabulous job!!
