These past few weeks have been absolutely incredible for our lil biz and staying open until 7pm during the week has been great!! But it feels like a good time to bring back the 5pm close now the weather is turning a little, to give our team a little more time to recharge and for us to keep on top of everything with a little less pressure.

As always we’re manic behind the scenes and have a huge announcement coming very soon … 👀

The Dragons Pot of Gold ~ a fairytale delight made of salted caramel gelato, pistachio ripple & golden honeycomb 🐉✨
Katy ~ Adult Entry

Shrek’s Swamp ~ A moreish muddy chocolate gelato with a gooey green lime ripple and edible creepy crawlys 🤎🐛
James ~ Childs Entry

Moana’s Adventure ~ A tropical voyage of coconut gelato, vibrant passionfruit ripple & zest of lime 🌴🌊
Safia ~ Child’s Dairy Free Entry
💙We adapted Safia’s creation for our Dairy Free/Vegan Entry as we hadn’t had many dairy free entries this year and thought this one worked really well using coconut milk to enhance the base flavour while keeping the gelato dairy free 🥥

👏🏽 We have loved bringing these creations to life and want to thank everyone who entered this year. We had so many amazing, imaginative and drool worthy ideas, we will definitely be taking inspiration from lots of your entries for future Gelato creations 🍦✨

These fabulous fairytale flavours will be available in the cabinet throughout Carnival week 🏰📖🍦🎉

10/10 family day out in Shaldon ☀️🌊🍦

🚆Hop on a bus or train from Dawlish to Teignmouth
☕️Grab a lush coffee from Daniel Edge - TheBlueHut (incredible hearty beachside grub and delicious gelato also available here 🍦😉)
🚤Then catch the ferry over to Shaldon from the back beach
🧺We had a picnic and visited the botanical gardens today and loved watching the swallows swoop and circle around us for a while with gorge high views of the estuary 😍
Then we mooched through town and visited lovely Emma at for a much needed refreshing Scoop treat (naturally) and we picked up some cute whimsical seaside treasures too ✨

📣You can find a selection of your favourite Gelato flavours served by the scoop at both Daniel Edge - TheBlueHut and that we make to order just as we do for the shop, so please do pop by and say Hi! if you’re out and about and in need of a scoop fix 🍦

We’re celebrating 100 years of adventure and friendship in Hundred Acre Wood for Dawlish Celebrates Carnival Carnival Week in theme with “Once Upon A Time” 🧸📖✨

📣Carnival week begins Saturday 15th August with our Carnival Theme Icecream Competition Winners being announced on the Bandstand around 1pm 🍦
We’re excited to bring this years winners creative ideas to life and also have a few ‘Pooh Bear & Friends’ inspired gelato flavours of our own which will be available in the cabinet until 21st August ✨
