Today was our last day of the summer season at Leadstone Camping . Oh my gosh what a summer it's been.
From mid July we have served breakfast each morning, icecreams etc throughout the day and then evening meals 5 nights a week. It's been exhausting but so much fun ☺️ 😊. The smell of bacon has got the campers up and out of their tents many times. Kids having candyfloss for breakfast! Many coffees have gotten mums and dad motivated fir the day ahead. Sold so much bbq pulled pork, chicken curry chips etc I must smell like a fryer!
None of it achieved on my own. 🥰
Campers I thank you all for the massive support of coming over for food and drinks. Listening to our stories, and letting us treat the dogs to icecreams. We appreciate you all so much. Kids... oh my gosh we have loved you all. ❤️
A huge thanks to our grandson 💙 Harry Johnson . Mate you are incredible 👏. You keep us organised, hope you can spare the time next year for some shifts!
Ashleigh Bowditch , chilli cook extraordinaire! Thank you for being on hand when so needed. Battled your own fight this year with medical issues, rightfully under the circumstances you have lost your s**t a few times! But in true style you fought and now winning!
The staff at Leadstone... firstly a massive massive massive thank you to Nikki Badger and Glenn... without your kindness and unlimited support we wouldn't have achieved anywhere near what we have. My deepest gratitude to you both. Will and Mandy, always a chat, a smile and again two lovely people. Cheers guys. And not forgetting Sam and Mark, fabulous news of all clear and sorted made me cry and so happy for you both. Again cheers guys.

But ultimately my darling John Harvey , with out you none of this would have been possible in the first place. Your support is undeniably more than I could ever have wished for. You have walked Darcy morning noon and night, volunteer of the year! Seriously, you are amazing. Thank you for all the foot rubs .
