📻 We’re on BBC Radio Devon tomorrow morning! ☕🌿

If you’re up bright and early tomorrow, Friday, tune in to BBC Radio Devon at around 6.15am, when our very own Simon will be chatting with John Acres on the Breakfast Show.

They’ll be talking about how Simon first stumbled into the wonderful world of tea, how that journey eventually led to becoming a tea blender, and the story behind Proper Devon Teas — from experimenting with flavours and ingredients to creating our range of organic, ethical and award-winning blends right here in Devon.

There may even be time for a little chat about Simon’s other passion — writing books about Devon, its rivers, moors, history, legends and landscapes! 📚

So, pop the kettle on, make yourself a proper cup of tea and join us tomorrow morning! ☕️

Amazing storm last night from our balcony in Dawlish.

The rain and thunder never quite reached us, yet out across the English Channel the heavens were alive with light. Forked lightning split the darkness above the sea, while great sheets of silver flickered beyond the horizon and over Haldon Hill.

For a while it felt as though we had the best seats in the house; warm, dry and watching nature put on one of its great wild performances.

I just hope everyone caught beneath the storm itself stayed safe through the night.
