Serving healthy, delicious school dinners across East Kent Whole School Meals is a community business that's owned by our local schools.

We were founded by a group of parents, teachers, governors and local business people to make sure that local children are well nourished at school. Our cooks are trained and qualified and do a great job with their teams preparing meals from fresh ingredients, lots of it sourced in Kent. Look out for our cookery clubs for children and adults, too!

🥗 Bread, water, and a fresh salad selection are available with every meal to help children enjoy a balanced lunch.

🍎 Fresh fruit is available daily alongside the dessert option.

KITCHEN ASSISTANT VACANCY at Sholden Primary School, Deal.

The successful candidate must be self-motivated and able to work as part of a small team and on their own when required.

At Sholden school, you will meet the food transport driver and bring the food into the hall, set up the dining room for service and clearing down afterwards, recording food temperatures and serving meals. Ideally the successful candidate will hold a Food Hygiene and Allergy Awareness certificate, however training towards this will be given.

Hours of work are 11:30-1.30pm, Monday-Friday, term time only + 5 additional cleaning days.
Job Type: Part-time, Permanent
