We passed the whole herd tb test this month and took blood samples from all the cows for the SRUC Premium Cattle Health Scheme, BVD, Johnes and Neospora. They have all come back clear and we are accredited for BVD and Johnes disease Risk Level 1* as well.
Great news!😊

Calving is well underway, 24 so far and expecting plenty more in February!

Some of the youngsters that we have just weaned. They will be left on this Sandstone Ridge conservation land to grow on for a while and be ready for work next summer.

Meanwhile we are going to be tb testing the next group of bulls for sale soon. Plenty still to go!

Looking for a bull?
We have TB tested another great group of young pedigree bulls for sale. They’re around 18 months old, quiet, easy calving and we’re still selling at last year’s very reasonable price.
We’ve never had TB, IBR or Lepto and the herd is SRUC accredited for BVD and Johnes. TB tested until 6/10/2025.
They’re ideal for serving heifers and small to medium frame cows. Come down any time for a look 👀
