Calling all fans of quality Ales & Beers.
We are pleased to announce that The Dove at Prestatyn will be opening it's doors to the public for the 1st time at 5pm this Saturday 26th May.

On offer will be a Real Ales from our own MicroBrewery, Dovecote Brewery in Denbigh, along with an ever changing selection of the finest guest ales and craft beers from the fantastic small breweries of North Wales and further afield.

The only rule is that the beers must be from small independent breweries and made by hand and not by machines in factories!

First new beer of 2018 is hitting the pumps this week at The Dove at Rhyl.
Something a bit unusual in cask format, Vienna is a Marzen Festbier style dark lager, and packs a bit of a punch at 6.4% ABV.

Very limited edition, one off batch for this year. It will be featuring at The Dove at Rhyl over the coming weeks, and a small number of casks will be released to other fine alehouses on a 1st come 1st served basis.

Hurry on down to The Dove if you don't want to miss it!🍺

So, Dovecote Brewery has been up and running for a few months now, and hopefully we're managing to gather a few fans along the way.

You will hopefully have heard that ALL our ales are Vegan friendly, as we do not use isinglass finings in bottles or casks.

We were particularly inspired by the purity, fuller flavour, and environmentally friendly aspects mentioned in the feature. Have to admit that we're not Vegan, or even Vegetarian......we are confirmed omnivores!!

As the Campaign for Real Ale (Camra) calls on brewers to remove isinglass - dried fish bladders - from drinks, Gareth May explores the growing trend for vegan and vegetarian beers.

It's a very easy drinking 4.8% zesty Pale ale crafted with finest Maris Otter pale malt and Cascade hops.
