What a busy week it’s been! We’ve been working hard clearing out of Denby Pottery Village and getting everything ready for our exciting move over to Mercia Marina. 🚚✨

We’re making great progress! 🙌

Weekend & Part-Time Deli Counter Assistant – MERCIA MARINA ⚓️
Greedy Pig Butchers is getting ready for our exciting new opening at Mercia Marina, and we’re looking for a friendly, reliable and hardworking person to join our team! 🥓🥩🧀
We’re looking for someone who wants regular weekend work, but is also available to work occasional weekdays and cover staff holidays. Flexibility is therefore really important for this role.
🕘 Hours:�📅 Saturday – 9am–5pm�📅 Sunday – 9am–4pm�➕ Additional weekday shifts and holiday cover when required
What will you be doing?�✨ Serving our lovely customers�✨ Preparing and displaying our products�✨ Using the oven, ham slicer and vacuum packer�✨ Keeping the shop and counter looking fabulous�✨ Helping with general day-to-day duties
🐷 No experience? No problem! Full training will be given.
We’re looking for someone who is:�❤️ Friendly and approachable�💪 Hardworking and reliable�😊 Great with customers�⏰ Punctual and dependable�📅 Flexible and able to help with weekday shifts and holiday cover

Well… that’s it! 🥹 After an amazing journey, the doors at **Greedy Pig Butchers** have officially closed — and we’ve actually finished earlier than expected! 🎉

We honestly cannot thank **EVERY SINGLE ONE OF YOU** enough for your incredible support, loyalty and custom over the years. 🥰 Whether you’ve been with us from day one, popped in occasionally, ordered your favourite pies, sausages or deli goodies, or simply stopped for a chat… **you have all helped make Greedy Pig what it is today.** ❤️

But don’t worry… **THIS ISN’T GOODBYE!** 👀🐷

We’re now getting everything ready for our **BIG NEW ADVENTURE at Mercia Marina!** 🚤🎉

We’re so excited to welcome you through our new doors, and we really hope as many of you as possible will make the journey to see us at our new home.

🐷 THE END OF AN ERA… BUT THE START OF A NEW ADVENTURE! 🐷

Today is our LAST DAY OF TRADING at Denby Pottery Village before we close the doors on a very special chapter and get ready for our move to Mercia Marina. ❤️

It’s been 4 incredible years for Greedy Pig Butchers and 3 amazing years for Greedy Pig Deli — and what a journey it’s been!

We honestly can’t put into words how grateful we are to every single customer who has supported us, recommended us, popped in for a chat, placed an order, brought friends and family, and continued to come back time and time again. 🥰

YOU have made these years what they have been. ❤️

And don’t worry… we know we’ll be seeing lots of familiar faces! With Christmas orders already coming in, we’ll be very much looking forward to seeing you all again — and we’d absolutely LOVE to see ALL of you at Mercia Marina when we open. 🎄🐷
