We’ve been a little quieter this year, and we wanted to share why.
The last few years of building Stile & Blooms together have been something really special. Growing, learning, creating, something we’re incredibly proud of.
Behind the scenes, things have changed a little.
Due to increased care needed by her mum, Alison has had to make the very hard decision to step back from the business and from the growing side for now.
She’ll still be growing a small amount, gently and without pressure, and seeing where the future leads.
Clare will continue to fly the flag for British, sustainable flowers and floristry — doing what she loves most and does best. She’ll be focusing on weddings, workshops and fond farewells, throughout the year, sourcing flowers as locally as possible through trusted flower farm members, and from Alison when available.
It hasn’t been an easy decision. We love working together, and this dream has meant a lot to us. But situations change, and sometimes adapting is the most caring thing you can do for each other.
Alison hopes to continue the flower cart at Ryknield Hill when and if there’s spare after supplying Clare — but for now, it’s very much a “watch this space”.
Thank you, as always, for your support and kindness.
It truly means the world.
