We're delighted to announce that our latest beer "Lemon Entree", a 4.8% IPA will have it's first outing at the Derby Railway Terrace Beer Festival next week. Get in quick, it's sure to be very popular.

𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗗𝗲𝗿𝗯𝘆 𝗖𝗔𝗠𝗥𝗔. Not long now until the the Pub of the Year 2026 winner Brunswick Derby & runners up The Victoria Inn DE1 will be having their fantastic joint beer festival with over 60 beers available between two pubs it's an excellent reason to pop along.

A welcome return by our friends Treehouse Brewery! They've been on a hiatus whilst they upgraded their brewery in Cavendish Bridge, but are back better than ever. Yew beauty is probably our favourite of theirs so winner winner!

Our first beer post brewery refurbishment is now on the sticks at The Smithfield. Yew Beauty, 4.9% Aussie Pale Ale brewed with Galaxy hops 👌

So after a 10 month break to make some improvements to the brewery, we’re delighted to say that WE’RE BACK!

What have we been doing? Well, Nick has become a grandparent for the first time, Nick has had surgery on his foot and more recently put his back out , Rob has been working full-time and we’ve both enjoyed the summer with a few trips away. It’s been slow going, but we’ve made the following improvements to the brewery:

✅ We’ve levelled, sealed and resin coated the floor

✅ We’ve lined the walls and ceiling with hospital grade panels for easy cleaning

✅ We’ve re-lagged all of the brewery vessels

✅ We’ve installed a CIP system

✅ We’ve installed a hot water system

✅ We’ve installed a hand dryer.

Today we’ve brewed one of our highest rated beers, Yew Beauty 4.9% Australian Pale Ale.
