I am a member of The Silver Hippos RFC, which is a rugby club and touring side founded by Nick Bracken OBE, known chiefly for organizing grueling annual charity cycle rides that raise tens of thousands of pounds for The Atlas Foundation.

The core of the Silver Hippo's is our charity connection to the Atlas foundation, A charity created by Hippo 114, Jason Leonard to relieve poverty and provide educational opportunities for children living in the harshest of conditions around the world. As a Hippo's whilst on tour to South Africa i have witnessed first hand how the project works, and how all the money raised gets to those in need.

This year on 22nd August , 18 of us, accompanied by 9 Guests will undertake the annual cycle ride from London to Norfolk, assisted by an army of Hippo's and friends acting as support.

I will be one of the riders and as such I need to raise sponsorship, so I am asking if any of you would be kind enough to sponsor me via the below link… if you can I will be very grateful, please make sure you put ‘Denise’ or ‘Cupcake’ which is my hippo name… surprisingly 🤓

Congratulations to the new Mr & Mrs Davey as they celebrated their marriage yesterday at the gorgeous setting of Whistle Barns Wedding Venue. It was such a pleasure to make their cake and cupcakes for their special day, which Joseph’s lovely sister Marie Rie Hilton ordered.

Etwall Well Dressings this year is the 16th-18th May.
I shall have my usual stall by the craft fair, so pop up and see me to get your sweet treats, Deelicious cakes and bakes.
This year We have also been told that the “Battle Of Britain Flypast” will be coming over Etwall on both Saturday and Sunday (tbc) which is an amazing spectacle to see.
Put it in your diary and spread the word, it’s a great weekend.
