Our new Lilly’s Grub Hub workwear has officially been ordered! 🎉

Because if we’re going to be serving up the grub, we’ve got to look the business while doing it! 😎🍔🥔☕️

This makes it all feel SO much more real… 🥹❤️
The trailer is coming together, the equipment is going in, the menu is taking shape… and now we’ve got the workwear on the way!

Because apparently we thought running a food trailer wasn’t complicated enough… so we added a coffee machine! 😂🙈

Our coffee machine has officially arrived and we couldn’t wait to get it out and show it off! 😍☕

When a delivery arrives… AND YOU REALISE IT’S BIGGER THAN EXPECTED! 😂

10 minutes later… questioning every life decision we’ve ever made. 🫣😂

But IT'S HERE! 🎉⚡️

Our brand new generator has officially arrived and it’s another HUGE step towards getting Lilly’s Grub Hub on the road! 🚐💨

We’ve researched it. We’ve planned it. We’ve worried about the weight. We’ve worried about the power. We’ve worried about EVERYTHING.

Now we just need to figure out how to actually get this thing to work… 🤦‍♀️

🎉 A VERY PROUD MOMENT! 🎉

I have some exciting news to share.

My wonderful assistant (aka my daughter ❤️) has officially passed her Level 2 Food Safety & Hygiene course! 🎓👏

This is such an important achievement as she’ll be working alongside me in the trailer, helping me to bring Lilly’s Grub Hub to life and making sure we maintain the highest standards when it comes to food safety and hygiene. 🥪☕️🧼

I honestly couldn’t be prouder of her! ❤️ She’s already been such a huge help behind the scenes, and I’m so excited that she’ll be joining me on this little adventure.

So, please join me in giving her a massive well done! 👏🎉

🍴 A LITTLE LILLY’S GRUB HUB UPDATE! 🍴

Wow… it’s been a little while since I’ve posted! 🙈 Life has been BUSY behind the scenes, but I promise that doesn’t mean things have stopped happening!

In fact… I think it’s finally time to let you all in on a little secret. 👀

For those of you following Lilly’s Grub Hub, you’ll know I’ve been working towards something pretty exciting…

Well, I can finally reveal that Lilly’s Grub Hub is going to be a FOOD TRAILER! 🚚🍴🎉

Yep! After lots of planning, researching, budgeting, equipment hunting (SO much equipment hunting 😂), menu ideas, paperwork and a fair few headaches along the way… the dream is becoming a reality!

And this isn’t just about serving food. I’m putting a lot of thought into creating something that I can be genuinely proud of — good food, great coffee, a friendly service and hopefully a place people will want to come back to. ❤️

There’s still plenty to do before I’m ready to open those doors, but things are moving forward!

🥔 The menu is taking shape
☕ Coffee plans are coming together
🚚 The trailer journey is underway
⚡ I’ve been working out all the practical stuff behind the scenes
📋 And I’m looking at where Lilly’s Grub Hub could eventually pop up!

I’m going to start sharing much more of the journey from now on — including the trailer, equipment, menu testing, the good bits, the stressful bits and probably a fair amount of “what on earth am I doing?” moments! 😂

Things are continuing to move in the right direction behind the scenes, and we're getting a little closer every week.

We've also had some very exciting parcels delivered recently! 📦✨ We can't wait to show you what we've been buying over the next few days. It's all starting to come together, and we're so excited to share more with you soon.
