It doesn’t matter how many years I’m around pumpkins, I’m always like a child in a sweet shop at this time of the growing season. The plants are beginning to die back and the pumpkins just glow.

The delight of over 50 different varieties of pumpkins, orange, white, green, yellow, striped, smooth, warty, and absolutely every shape and size you could imagine. 90,000 pumpkins to choose from.

It makes for the perfect family outing, with lots of photo opportunities on site, bale mountain, maize trail, mini fairground and lots of food and drinks vendors producing locally produced goodies .

Huge congratulations to the team at Oakfield Farm Shop who have been awarded the best farm shop in Derbyshire, a very well deserved award 🚜

Oakfield Farm will be at Mr Pumpkin alongside our other very fabulous food and drinks vendors to keep you well watered and nourished while wandering through the pumpkin fields 🧡

The next project at Mr Pumpkin HQ is taking this beautiful vintage cart to our joiner for some TLC to its woodwork, ready to be made into a fabulous new photo op for this season. Can’t wait to see it all dressed up with beautiful colourful pumpkins 🧡

Just answers to a few frequently asked questions….

🎃 Book tickets at www.mrpumpkin.co.uk
🎃 Your ticket is for timed entrance to the site, but when with us you can remain as long as you need
🎃 You can exchange your ticket date/time more than 3 days before your booked date. Just log into our ticketing site through your confirmation email and select manage tickets
🎃 Well behaved dogs on leads are very welcome throughout the site
🎃 We have loos on site, including an accessible loo and baby changing
🎃 Pumpkins are priced from £2 each depending on size. There is a handy guide at the field entrance
🎃 Wellies are recommended as it can get muddy, gloves for little hands are also a good idea as some of the pumpkin stalks are prickly

These are timed entrance tickets, once on site you can remain with us as long as you need to find your perfect pumpkin.

Dates shown with * are peak admission dates.

Tickets for 30th and 31st will be released nearer the time when we have a better idea of pumpkin supply and can see how the ground is holding up.

Tickets are priced at £3.50 for 16 years and over on peak dates and £2.50 all other times.
Visitors aged 3-15 years are £1.00 each on peak dates and free at other time.
Under 3’s are free and don’t require an entrance ticket.

Pumpkins are priced from £2 each.

The pumpkin bale is out! 🧡🧡

It’s been a busy weekend in the Mr Pumpkin workshop.

All signage out of storage, had a good wash and now ready for some pre season TLC.

The Pumpkin Trail letters are out too, and now need to make the hardest decision of the season, working out what this years spooky word will be 😉

We have lots of new artwork and photo opportunities in 2026. Including our awesomely talented signwriter Duncan hand painting a beautiful new welcome sign. Lots of you have already seen Duncan’s work as he did the sign writing on our beautiful pumpkin truck Lena.

Lots to look forward to for Mr Pumpkin 2026.
