SUPER PROUD ANNOUNCEMENT TIME 🥁

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to our fabulous Mr Pumpkin visitors & friends of Pumpkins.

Together, this year we have managed to raise a totally Pumpkintastic £5,171.30 for the local branch of the Air Ambulance.

Thank you to all those who donated during their visit, and kindly donated at the Pumpkin Trail desk too. Your donations really do make a huge difference, and the local representatives of Air Ambulance were delighted to be presented with the donation earlier today.

This is a record donation for us in 2025, and takes our total donations since we opened in 2017 to an amazing £26,481.47!!

Our pumpkin season for 2025 is officially over, but it’s been a busy week for the Mr Pumpkin team 🧡

We have had farmers collect trailer loads of leftover pumpkins for animal feed, the bale mountain has gone to be snuggly animal bedding, the Maize is due to be harvested on Friday for animal feed, pumpkins have been chopped and ploughed to put goodness back into the ground AND we have made a number of other donations locally, including to the small animals Derby College Broomfield Hall who have loved having a play and munch with our leftover pumpkins 🎃🎃

We also have a very exciting announcement coming about our Air Ambulance donation this year, a huge thank you from the bottom of our hearts to those who donated this year, we are totally overwhelmed by your generosity 🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡

Mr Pumpkin 2025 over and out! 🎃🧡🍁

The witch and Clare had a little puddle dance to celebrate the end of a busy season.

Thank you to all our lovely visitors this year, the whole team have had the best time looking after you all. The pumpkins were awesome this year and the weather gods were kind to us too.

We do have lots left, we have a couple of local farmers coming to collect for animal feed, and we also plan to plough leftovers back in to put some goodness back into the ground too, so we’ll be making good use of all of the leftovers.

We’ll be working out the donations for Air Ambulance and get those over to the local Air Ambulance volunteers who work with us, a huge thank you to Richard, Julie and Grace for all they do and to all of you for your very generous donations this season.

We hope to see you all again for our TENTH year, for Mr Pumpkin 2026! 🎃🎃

It is looking a little showery after midday. We have lots of availability today so more than happy for ticket holders for later today to come earlier to hopefully avoid the showers.

We are open 10-2 today, last admission to the patch is 1pm 🎃🎃

And yes, we still have lots and lots of pumpkins left to be picked today

We still have a few warty pumpkins left on the patch for picking today, along with lots of other varieties including large orange traditional carving pumpkins. We are open 10-2 with good availability across all entrance slots. So still time to visit to find your perfect pumpkin!

Our very final day of Mr Pumpkin 2025!

There are still thousands of pumpkins left on the patch, we’ve had a busy month but they’ve just grown so well this year. Lots of everyone’s favourites, including Crown Prince squash, which keep for 3+ months and are absolutely delicious, so take the opportunity to stock up for winter.

Unfortunately we don’t have a face painter with us tomorrow, but we have the fairground and all the usual Mr Pumpkin fun.

Why not select your perfect pumpkin, carve during your visit and leave the mess with us?

PUMPKINS PUMPKINS AND EVEN MORE PUMPKINS!

The penultimate day of our 2025 season is upon us. Good availability throughout today, and we’re also open tomorrow.

Fancy carving your pumpkin with us and leaving the mess here? You’re more than welcome to join us in the marquee for some pumpkin carving excitement. Our carving kits which come complete with tools and stencils, are available to purchase at the checkout for £4.00.

ONLY TWO DAYS TO GO 🎃🎃🎃

Only two more days left of Mr Pumpkin 2025! Phew that’s flew by this year!The attached video was taken at 3:50pm of just one of our fields so we have so many wonderful pumpkins still to be picked.

It’s full on picking mode tomorrow, the mini fairground will be open, we have Oakfield Farm, Willows Smooties & Shakes, Paws for. Brew, Olivia’s S’mores and Doughnotts feeding you tomorrow. Lots of variety from hog roast to crepes, smoothie bowls, milkshakes and cakes to freshly ground coffee and speciality teas.

We also have Mrs Rainbow in the marquee for your face painting and glitter tattoos.

Also pay a visit to the lovely Madi on the Pumpkin Trail desk for your trail sheet and instructions for a lovely wander round the pumpkin farm which also takes in our Maize Maze too. The perfect end to your pumpkin picking day!

Oh, and the sun is forecast to make an appearance too.

WEDNESDAY 29TH OCTOBER

We have had rain overnight but the forecast is again for beautiful sunshine today.

Any visitors today we recommend wellies or shoes you don’t mind getting a little muddy. A change of shoes for the car journey home is also a good idea.

Anyone wanting to travel using public transport, we are on the H1 trentbartonland bus route. We also have taxi drop off and pick up points so taxis can bring you all the way into the parking area.

We have absolutely thousands of pumpkins left, I’ll pop into the fields later to take some photos. Lots of different shapes and sizes orange, lots of our favourite culinary pumpkins like the crown prince squash, along with gourds and mini squashes too.

Availability for entrance slots is reasonable today, as always please see the website for current availability and to book.

We have all our food retailers open on the fun field, the fun fair will be bouncing, and Mrs Rainbow will be in the Witches Marquee for some fun face painting and glitter tattoos.

We look forward to seeing you all soon

The sun has got its hat on today over our pumpkin farm!

We have some entrance slots at limited availability today and expect lots to attend given the weather so if you plan to come today then I’d recommend booking.

All the usual pumpkin fun, oodles of pumpkins left including squashes and gourds. Lots of food options on site, our mini fairground is also open and we have Mrs Rainbow face painting for us in the marquee.

So let the kids run off some steam in the sunshine, and get your Halloween pumpkins straight from the farm!
