The weather for this coming weekend is looking super lovely, so we thought we’d treat you to an extra addition to our food and drinks retailers, introducing The Tipsy Mare mobile bar.

This lovely local business will be with us this weekend for the very first time, with a range of beers, wines, prosecco and spirits, including alcohol free too.

We can’t wait to welcome them 🍸🍷🥂

Looking for Sunday inspiration?

The weather forecast for tomorrow is pumpkin picking perfect! A beautiful autumnal day is forecast, with bright blue skies to capture those perfect photos.

It’s looking busy first thing tomorrow with a few of the morning slots sold out or very limited availability, but lots of availability for pumpkin picking in the afternoon.

Our pumpkin maize trail 🧡🎃🧙🌽🌾

When you’re with us over coming weeks please pay a visit to our Pumpkin Trail Hut located next to the Pumpkin Checkouts.

The Pumpkin Trail takes you on a short wander through the pumpkin fields and our mini maize. There’s letters to spot on the journey and all children who manage to unscramble the letters to make the spooky word can claim their sweet treat back at the Pumpkin Trail Hut.

The Trail is free to do, but we very gratefully accept donations to our partner charity, The Air Ambulance. This charity is particularly close to us, and over the years, with your help and generosity, we have raised a most Pumpkintastic £26,481.47 for this very worthy cause.

The photo ops are restocked, the ground is looking great, and the pumpkins totally Pumpkintastic! Almost time for another busy weekend.

90,000 pumpkins, over FIFTY different varieties in almost every colour and size you can imagine!

This weekend we have all our food vendors with us, including Doughnotts.

We have Cheerful Chops face painting in the Witches Kitchen marquee.

All the fun of the pumpkin maize trail which is lots of fun for younger ones. We also have our interactive pumpkin hunt, where you can learn a little more about some of our new and more popular pumpkin varieties as you wander round the fields.

Some of the slots are sold out for this weekend and some on limited availability. When a slot is sold out we won’t be releasing any more tickets for this weekend so if you wanted to visit this weekend please pre-book to avoid disappointment.

We had a special guest today while we were restocking displays and tidying the site ready for visitors this weekend….

Jim the Shetland Pony! Jim came to visit with some of the staff from derbycollegeequine. He was totally adorable, enjoyed the photo ops, had a wander through the maize and even had a good look at the teacups ride. Full video to follow very soon🧡

Unfortunately Jim won’t be with us for pony rides at Mr Pumpkin, he’s far too busy living his full and varied life with staff and students at Derby College Equine 🧡
