✨Tickets for Mercatum 2026 are now on sale ✨

Following the huge success of last year, which saw Mercatum named in the UK press as one of the top ten Christmas markets in the country, this year’s event promises to be bigger, better and more captivating than ever, taking place over a 6-week period, from 11th November – 20th December.

As in previous years, Mercatum 2026 will take place in the beautifully decorated rooms, galleries and courtyard of Medieval Haddon. Over 750 talented artisans and makers will showcase their work over six weeks, with artisans changing each week, creating a luxurious and unique Christmas shopping experience. You’ll find a diverse range of crafts, including ceramics, art, chocolates, jewellery, candles, artisan stationery, perfumes, and much more, both inside and outside the Hall, all set against a truly festive backdrop.

As you explore medieval Haddon Hall, you’ll discover magnificent Christmas trees, twinkling lights, live music, warming food and drink, and a truly magical atmosphere that has made Mercatum a highlight of the festive calendar.

🎄Tickets are available for:
• Morning sessions (9.15am – 12.45pm)
• Afternoon sessions (1.00pm – 4.30pm)
• Green Travel tickets (arrival any time before 3.45pm, travelling by bus, bike or on foot – you are welcome to stay all day!)
• NEW Twilight tickets (3.00pm – 4.30pm), perfect for experiencing Mercatum as dusk falls and the Hall sparkles with festive lights.

Mercatum will run Wednesday to Sunday throughout the festive season (closed Mondays and Tuesdays) and tickets are expected to sell quickly so pre-booking is essential.

What a fantastic weekend for Withers Gin at the Midlands Air Festival!

From stunning hot air balloons and the spectacular RAF Red Arrows, RAF Falcons, BBMF, Sally B and Bronco displays, to the incredible MiG-17 flying display, it was a weekend to remember.

A huge thank you to all our new and returning customers who stopped by to see us. We loved meeting you all!

If you haven’t been to the Midlands Air Festival, it’s well worth a visit.

Day 31 - Cheers

We’ve just returned from our first air show of the season and managed to get back JUST in time for a swift one at our local micropub The Hoptimist - Spondon Ltd.

Thank you to everyone who has followed along with our journey. We’ve loved taking part and sharing a little bit of our world each day.

A special thank you to for continuing to support and showcase the gin community. It’s not always easy for independent producers. Duty has risen by 30% since we started six years ago, while costs continue to climb across every part of the business. Support from the gin-loving community means more to us now than ever.
