We would like to thank Sarah & Morrisons again for their incredibly generous donation of toys, prizes and gift cards 🎁🧸🏆. Your support has helped us provide lots of fantastic rewards during our club and healthy eating sessions, as well as helping us to provide all the delicious fresh fruit 🍎🍌🍓 for the children to enjoy! Your generosity has made such a difference. 💚👏

Today we handed over a donation to Aspire Community & Support Alliance CIC to help support their summer program.
Every Morrisons store has been given £100 to donate to a local “holiday and activities food program” (HAF).
We chose Aspire because they are very much supporting our local community.
They were also given a trolley full of snacks and toys

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came along to this summers ASPIRE HAF Club! 💛🎉

We had an absolutely amazing time, and it was fantastic to see so many smiles, laughter and happy faces throughout the programme! 😄🙌

We’ve had so much fun with food and healthy eating sessions 🥗🍎, smoothie making 🥤, fire stunts 🔥, circus skills 🎪, ukulele classes 🎶, karate 🥋,disco 🪩, arts and crafts 🎨 and so much more!

A very special THANK YOU to all the amazing people and organisations who helped make our HAF provision so brilliant! 🌟👏 A huge thank you to Feel Alive Hub CIC & Drama Group for their fantastic food and arts and crafts sessions, and for helping us make the disco such a success! 🥗🎨🪩 Thank you to Chris Marley for an incredible circus workshop and amazing fire show! 🎪🔥 A big thank you to Adaptive Karate for a fantastic karate session 🥋, and to Allestree Ukulele for bringing the music and fun with their brilliant session! 🎶🎸 We really appreciate all your time, energy and enthusiasm! ❤️

A special thank you also to PCSO Adam from Chaddesden, Oakwood and Spondon Police SNT for coming along to spend time with the children, teaching them all about his role and what he does in the community, while also joining in with the fun! 👮‍♂️😊 We really appreciate you taking the time to come along and make the session so enjoyable and informative. 🌟👏

Its that time of year again!

Bookings are now live for this years ASPIRE Summer HAF.

If you are a parent/guardian of a child that receives free school meals then they are eligible for a space.

We are looking forward to 3 weeks of Summer Holiday Fun!

We are looking for the following roles to be filled here at our foodbank shop.

Day to day workers, cleaners, delivery/pick up drivers and marketers.

We would like to say massive thank you to our friends at Chaddesden Traders Association for their amazing donations of Easter eggs. We are very grateful!

A special thank you to Age UK Derby & Derbyshire as well for holding onto and delivering them to us!

Our families will be happy to know Easter isn't over yet!

So what do we do with left over Easter eggs.... give to food bank so Chaddesden kids can enjoy 😋 thanks Di, age uk for dropping off with Mark on Chadd Park

And that’s a wrap!

We would like to thank those who came to our Easter HAF club. It was amazing, educational and most of all a fun couple of days!

We would like to thank the following.

Feel Alive Hub CIC & Drama Group for the magical Disney concert performance. You was all amazing!

Chaddesden fire station for teaching the children about fire safety, the equipment used and for bringing a fire engine down to our club!

Chaddesden Jubilee Club Sports for having us again and for making the delicious food that our kids loved!

And Revive Centre Charity for donating a massive amount of easter eggs which was given to the children!

If it wasn’t for the kindness of the groups above, the community at large and of course the children and parents/guardians there would be no Aspire HAF club!
